Installation and Commissioning of New Plant for Global Food, Agricultural, and Bio-Industrial Specialist

Project overview:

The client, a prominent global food, agricultural, and bio-industrial specialist, sought to replace an outdated facility that had reached the end of its natural lifecycle. The goal is to enhance efficiency, reduce maintenance costs, and modernise the overall infrastructure.

The initiative, project focused on the removal of Vertical Flake Cookers, redundant equipment, services, and support steelwork and the rewiring of new and existing process equipment and modifications to align with the updated processes.

Our Achievements:

The team successfully supplied and installed a 16-meter link bridge where they meticulously planned the installation by pre-drilling the existing steelwork to incorporate the bridge seamlessly. A bridge has been installed to improve operational efficiency by building a connection between two separate buildings. This was complimented by the installation of new steelwork to ensure the next phase of the project can be delivered efficiently and as planned ready for the next phase of the project when the installation of vessels, pipework, conveyors, and power supply from the MCC Room to the plant will take place.

The project is ongoing, with two more phases of steelwork to follow. One phase is currently in the fabrication stage and is scheduled for installation before the Christmas holiday. The final phase will be completed early part of next year.
