To effectively manage our key client(s), develop and maintain customer relationships. Deliver strategic objectives through the creation of value for these customers by;

  • Developing an understanding of the client’s needs including markets and segments intelligence
  • Managing budgets, targets and sales strategies
  • Governing a portfolio of projects
  • Delivery strategic objectives
  • Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators
  • Effectively communicate with our strategic clients and Tier 1 D&B Contractor Teams as point of contact for project opportunities, delivery, issues and general communications.
  • Be responsible for the allocated strategic account performance and relationship management at programme level and to ensure that any project based or commercial problems are resolved expediently, without conflict and to the satisfaction of all key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the effective delivery of specified projects to time and cost targets by personal leadership.
  • To undertake project performance and monitoring reviews, attendance of monthly commercial CVR’s for all areas/contracts of responsibility within your allocated account.
  • Positively promote BGEN capabilities with our strategic clients and Tier 1 D&B Contractors.
  • By liaison with our strategic clients and Tier 1 D&B Contractors and BGEN Internal Resource Managers, ensure the effective application of resources to enquiries and projects.
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports in agreed format in sufficient time (for both external and internal performance indication) to demonstrate control across the projects quoted and implemented under this framework, including:
    • 3 month forecast update,
    • Review enquiries/ prequals etc.
    • Strategy progress.
    • Review of current activities and forthcoming activities.
    • Update CRM & Portal Database.
    • Manage all framework warranty claims to client satisfaction.
  • Take ownership of any client adverse and/or positive feedback reports.
  • Utilising the tools provided, ensure project forecasting information / data is up to date and available to the Management Team
  • Ensure that sufficient notice is provided to the Management Team to notify of pending resource requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with the Technology QA / Environmental & H&S systems.
  • Notify the Key Account Director of any significant commercial, technical or contractual risks associated with current or pending projects.
  • Positively promote capabilities and relationships within other parts of BGEN Ltd in order to maximize on cross divisional opportunities.
  • Attendance of any strategic related framework meetings and forums to represent BGEN Ltd.
  • Negotiate framework rates and commercial model at intervals determined by framework agreements.
  • To support the Project delivery function, Engineering and Estimating function when required including;
    1. Site Surveys
    2. Creation of Estimates
    3. Engineering & Design aspects including project design reviews
    4. Procurement
    5. Production / Workshop interface
    6. Planning and implementation of project delivery to a high quality, on time and within budget
    7. Maintain clear communication links within BGEN Ltd and with client
    8. Report on costs and programme forecast per project
    9. Use planning tools to ensure best use of resource to meet project milestones
    10. Adhere to Technology and BGEN quality procedures.

 

HNC / Degree in an electrical discipline or demonstration of experience; membership of professional Institution or similar body.

 

  • Technical knowledge of complex projects including Electrical / Instrumentation / Systems Engineering
  • Broad understanding of available products and services relevant to STW framework.
  • Good planning, organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point and MS Project.
  • Ability to act on own initiative.
