BGEN Celebrates Recognition at AZCAS Awards for Safety, Health and Environmental Excellence

BGEN is proud to celebrate a strong performance at this year’s AZ Contractor Assurance Scheme, AZCAS, Awards, reinforcing our continued commitment to delivering excellence in Safety, Health and Environmental, SHE, standards across all our operations.

The AZCAS Awards have long been an important platform for promoting best practice, collaboration and continuous improvement within AstraZeneca’s contractor community. The programme encourages organisations to demonstrate sustained high performance throughout the year, culminating in the prestigious “Gold Award”, an accolade that recognises consistent excellence at a company-wide level.

These awards are not only a benchmark of performance, but also a reflection of the collective effort across operational, SHE and leadership teams working together to maintain the highest standards.

A special congratulations goes to Lee Sorngaard, who was individually recognised with one of this year’s awards, highlighting exceptional commitment and contribution to SHE excellence, and Ian Finlow, whose leadership and dedication are instrumental in driving BGEN’s “Gold Award” performance. Ian oversees the rigorous monthly submissions to AstraZeneca, ensuring full compliance with required KPIs and evidencing our continued adherence to the highest SHE standards.
