Experience Built on Delivery and Trust

With a career that began as a mechanical maintenance engineer at British Steel, our new Business Development Manager brings a strong operational foundation and first‑hand understanding of delivery environments. This early experience continues to shape a pragmatic and dependable approach to client engagement.

Subsequent roles with Weir Pumps, Balfour Beatty and SSE have seen him operate across steel manufacturing, industrial services, construction and EC&I installation. He has supported clients in nuclear, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, power, defence, oil and gas, and chemical sectors, consistently delivering sustainable growth within complex and regulated frameworks.

Proven Results in Regulated Environments

A key strength is the ability to identify, secure and grow long‑term strategic contracts. Achievements include securing a six‑year term maintenance contract with South Hook LNG, delivering multi‑million‑pound annual value, alongside several long‑term maintenance contracts with two of the UK’s largest oil refineries with a combined value exceeding £60 million.

These successes reflect a clear focus on safety, quality and long‑term partnership, values that align closely with BGEN’s own operating principles.
