MMB and BGEN have made a strong start to AMP8 within the Severn Trent framework, securing major schemes across Longbridge, Lichfield, Loughborough, Barrow and Quorn, and Bromsgrove. This early success highlights the strength of collaboration between our teams, driving smarter planning, right first time design, and reliable delivery. We are also investing in the future, supporting apprentices as they build hands on experience for site commissioning roles.
Strong Start to AMP8 Delivery with Severn Trent Framework
MMB and BGEN have made a strong and fast start to AMP8 within the Severn Trent framework, setting a confident tone for Year 1 delivery. Major schemes at Longbridge, Lichfield, Loughborough, Barrow & Quorn, and Bromsgrove have now been secured and are progressing well, with additional opportunities continuing to emerge across the programme.
This early momentum reflects the strength of the collaborative delivery model between the two organisations. By working closely together from the outset, MMB and BGEN are enabling smarter planning, right-first-time design, and consistent, reliable project delivery.
BGEN Severn Trent Key Account Manager, Harry Mannering, commented:
“AMP8 represents a significant period of investment for the water industry, and it has been a great opportunity to work collaboratively with MMB across Severn Trent projects. The close alignment between our teams has been instrumental in achieving right-first-time design and maintaining programme certainty.”
Collaboration across the partnership also extends to investing in future capability. MMB electrical apprentices, Sasha Reid and Louis Davies, recently visited BGEN to gain hands-on experience with control panels and motor control centres (MCCs), supporting their development ahead of site-based commissioning roles. Supporting early careers remains a key priority, helping to build long-term capability and expertise across the partnership.
