Project Win: Distillery, Scotland

We are delighted to announce our successful award for a Distillery project in Scotland. Commencing in May 2025 with a planned duration of 13 weeks, this project underscores our expertise in delivering complex electrical, control, and instrumentation (EC&I) installations in high-stakes industrial environments.

The project involves the installation of a new Wet By-Product Dispatch System at the distillery’s Dark Grains facility. This critical upgrade will enable the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of draff and syrup, essential by-products of the distillation process.

Key elements include:

  • Main and Sub-Route Cable Containment Systems (totalling 2,213 meters).
  • Electrical Systems, including power and control cabling (3,557 meters) for MCCs, drives, centrifuges, distribution boards, and local equipment.
  • Instrumentation, including the installation of RIO panels, Profibus segment protectors, and local air manifolds with extensive cabling (5,984 meters) and tubing (2,937 meters).
  • Lighting and Earthing Systems, ensuring safety and operational reliability.

With the distillery’s operation critically dependent on the new systems, our work will support a seamless transition to the upgraded process, ensuring continued production and efficiency.

This award reaffirms our commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions for the distillation industry. We look forward to contributing to the future success of our client.
