Business Carbon Assessment Report 2024 / 2025
We are excited to publish our Business Carbon Assessment Report for 2024/2025, our third year of data collated and verified in line with ISO:14064.
Working with Tunley Environmental (link to their website), we have assessed Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions across the BGEN Group. The assessment provides us with an overview of key focus areas and our Roadmap to achieving Net Zero carbon emissions.
Key highlights:
- 172 tco2e annual reduction in emissions from vehicle fleet.
- Scope 2 reduction of 142 tco2e with 99% of the electricity used, from an Ofgem certified renewable source.
- Emissions from operational waste reduced by 43 tco2e.
- Transitioned 5% of natural gas supply for heating, to Biogas.
- Continued roll out of our EV employee car scheme.
- Continued transition to electrified van fleet, also fitted with low emission technologies.
- Engaging with key suppliers to reduce our Scope 3 emissions.
