WGM-B joint venture board look forward to Scottish Water contract at charity golf day.

On Friday 1st October 2021, we finally got the chance to meet up with our WGM-B team members and our clients, Scottish Water, in person, with a day of golf and a charity raffle.

It’s hard to think Scotland without thinking golf, so we are extremely fortunate to have been able to ‘get a round in’ with our new colleagues as restrictions lifted, but before the weather got too bad!

Together, we’ve been planning, conferencing, number crunching, strategising, recruiting, and planning some more! So, it was a pleasure to take a brief pause, build on our relationships and stretch our legs, before ramping up to the next stage of this mammoth project in engineering.

We were graciously hosted by Mar Hall, also providing the backdrop to our charity raffle. Thanks to the tremendous generosity of our clients, we offered some exceptional prizes, and we’re able to raise money for Water Aid. The prizes included an overnight stay in the Dakota hotel & Gift Vouchers, to name a few!

Water aid share the same mission as Scottish Water and WGM-B, across the world: to find means to deliver clean, safe, sustainable and accessible water solutions. It’s an incredible cause and more can be found out about their work here.
